Pioneer Posse
1947-2008

Celebrating 61 Years!

The Pioneer Posse was organized in 1947 as a support group for the Milton Freewater Pea Festival, a community celebration which included a horse show and parade.

Dedicated volunteers have been, and still are the backbone of the Pioneer Posse. After purchasing the ground and constructing the arena, announcers booth, and cook shack the club was looking for a way to make money to help pay off the mortgage. In 1957 the Summer Series was originated.

The profit from the Summer Series, which included proceeds from the cook shack, along with yearly dues attributed to the support of the Pioneer Posse.

The Pioneer Posse is truly a Family Organization. The children who grew up competing on these grounds - now watch their children and grandchildren compete for one of the treasured "Posse Series Buckles".

Over the years the Pioneer Posse has tried to be as self sufficient as possible, but now it is time to call upon Sponsors to help keep this Community Sponsored Family Tradition alive!

We hope you can find the value in becoming part of the "Pioneer Posse Family" by participating in our Sponsorship Program. Below are some of the opportunities for you to review. We would like to Thank You in advance for your consideration in supporting this 60 Year Old Family Organization!
