Arena Use

Please remember that the arena is provided for PAID members ONLY! If you haven't paid your 2008 dues since January 1st of the current year, you will not be allowed to use the arena. You can mail in your 2008 dues by filling out a membership form and mailing it with your dues to the address on the form or you can also pay your dues ONLINE for a small fee by going HERE. You will be asked by any of the board members when they are present if your 2008 dues are paid. So please save yourself the embarrassment of being asked to leave or pay your dues at that time by getting them paid now.

Membership Information

The object of The Pioneer Posse is to encourage horseback riding, to foster good horsemanship, encourage traditional family values, participate in family and community events, and support for it's members. You must be a Currently Paid member to participate in Pioneer Posse events and use The Posse Grounds.

While The Pioneer Posse does put on various horse related events throughout the year, there are many other benefits of membership. The Posse Grounds is a place for families to come together and share a common interest. The adults come together and talk about old times, meet new life long friends, network, and enjoy watching each others children grow up and become our areas future leaders. For the kids it is a place to meet other children with like interests and to have a great time while learning horsemanship and sportsmanship. The kids learn that there is a great way of having fun while learning and exercising and getting out from in front of the televisions and video games.

There are two classes of membership which are Active and Lifetime Honorary. Honorary membership is extended to persons who have rendered Outstanding services to the association. Active membership has two categories and they are Family Membership and Single Membership. Family Membership consists of a head of household, may include a spouse and any child or children under the age of 18, or under the age of 23 and attending school as a full time student. Single Membership is issued to individuals. Children under 18 must join with a family membership, excepting youth under 18 who presents a signed parental consent.

The Fiscal Year for membership is from January 1st to December 31st. All dues are payable on or before January 1st or at the time the applicant joins the association. Dues for membership are $25.00 for a single membership and $35.00 for a family membership. Dues paid for any year shall be considered to cover the current fiscal year. No member shall have the privilege of participating in any of the activities of The Pioneer Posse or have use of The Posse Grounds until all fees then due have been paid.
