In 1948 a small group of individuals decided to create a riding club that eventually became known as the Umatilla Sage Riders. 2008 will be the 60th anniversary of this riding club and the current board of directors are working to bring not only positive, member-driven changes, but to also bring back many of the traditions such as the drill team, relay racing, and more. 		257
